Questions about holiday cards that support your nonprofit
Can any nonprofit organization share a link?
Any nonprofit organization that Pledge lists under its EIN. Enter your EIN above to check; if Pledge does not list you yet, you can ask Pledge to add your organization.
How do holiday cards support our nonprofit?
Supporters order the holiday photo cards they would send anyway, and your organization is preselected as the nonprofit organization their order benefits. As a company, we commit to giving 50% of our after-tax profits to benefit the nonprofit organizations our customers choose, proportional to those sales.
What does it cost our organization?
Nothing. There are no order forms, no inventory and no minimum your organization has to meet. You share a link and a flyer; GivingPrints handles printing, envelopes and delivery.
Do supporters have to create an account or enter a code?
No. The link opens the normal GivingPrints site with your organization already selected, and it stays selected while they design their card. Designs, prices and checkout are the same as for any other customer.
When does our organization receive the money?
GivingPrints sends all of its giving through Pledge, which handles the payout to each organization. Keeping your organization’s details current on Pledge helps funds reach you without delay.
Where do supporters see which nonprofit their card supports?
Your organization is shown while they design the card and at checkout, and the back of every card names the nonprofit organization the order supports.
Are supporters making a donation to our organization?
No. Supporters are buying a product — holiday photo cards — not making a personal donation, so their purchase is not tax-deductible for them. The giving is done by GivingPrints, from our after-tax profits.
